Salty Kisses – Your Dreams are meant to be a reality

Today I would like to share a personal story that reminded me that our dreams are meant to be a reality.

This morning I sat on the beach and drank tea with my husband, who I love and adore. Looking out at the glassy waves, the ocean was way too enticing to ignore.

We scampered back to our home, set down our cups, grabbed our boards (mine a boogie 🙂 ) and playfully walked back to the beach.

We paused briefly on the shore for him to wrap his leash around his ankle and then onward we went. We kissed as we parted ways, he paddled out as I stayed in the comfort of the whitewater. Immersed in the warmth of the salty womb I laughed and played, enjoying this life that we have created together. Every once in awhile I looked back and got a glimpse of him catching a ride on a slow, perfect longboard wave. His body calm and comfortable as he carved back and forth.

After many long, exhilarating rides I set my board aside and floated lightly on my back. Looking up at the sky, I watched as pelicans flew in graceful formations and butterflies danced with whimsy in the air. My heart spilling over with gratitude its beats calling out, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Just as I was making my way back to the beach, I turned around and there he was, catching his last wave all the way back to me. He hopped off his board smiling ear to ear, walked towards me and gave me the biggest, best, salty kiss. This is the life I dreamed of. This is the life I live. This is the life I love.

I offer you a gentle reminder that your dreams are meant to be a reality. No matter WHERE you live in the world, make sure that you love the WAY you are living. And if you don’t like the current situation, be brave and bold enough to make the changes necessary to live a life you love. Also, you are not meant to go it alone! Open your heart wide, so that you can be in the generous flow of love and support.

Love to you & your beautiful family!
Missing you- I was just thinking about the big island the other day & how I played with Stella before she could walk! And how you nursed her while she was in her car seat! I’ve never seen that act of motherhood since!! ha:)! Only a yogi could perform….for sure!
    Thinking of you,
    Much love
